Small Business Administration (SBA) Lending
Find Funding for Your Business DreamsWith Small Business Administration (SBA) Lending
Mission Valley Bank was awarded Preferred Lender Program (PLP) status by the U. S. Small Business Administration in 2007. Under this program, the SBA streamlines the procedures for SBA banks by giving them the authority to make the final credit decision. While the Small Business Administration does not loan money directly, when you apply for an SBA-backed loan, you are basically asking the SBA to provide a guarantee that you will repay. Unfortunately, with non-preferred SBA approved banks the loan process can take up to four weeks because they have to send their loans directly to the SBA for approval.
It’s important to realize not all lenders are nominated to receive this lending designation. It is only open to lenders based on a proven track record of successfully processing and servicing SBA-guaranteed loans.
Mission Valley Bank is dedicated to finding the right solutions to meet our clients financing needs. As a Preferred SBA Lender (since 2007) we can help you determine if SBA financing is the right fit for you and your business -- or if another form of financing may better suit your needs. With a variety of financing options, if you are looking to purchase or renovate commercial real estate, acquire fixed assets such as heavy machinery or specialized equipment, borrow working capital or — in some cases, even fund the acquisition of a new business, an SBA Loan may be the perfect move to assist with the growth and success of your company.
